Bio:
Scott began his career as an illustrator in his home town of Santa Rosa. He quickly transitioned from lead illustrator to art director while he attended the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. As the schools student liaison to Disney Feature Animation, he helped spearhead the emerging Character Animation program, and was mentored by noted artist and illustrator Barbara Bradley. At Barbara’s behest Scott continued his education at Cal Arts, in the school of film and video. He earned his BFA from their prestigious Character Animation program in 2006.
Over the last 25 years, Scott’s work has been seen everywhere from picture frames, and magazine ads, to children’s books, television commercials, and the big screen. Scott’s out of the box thinking helped earn Farmers Insurance the award for “Best Animated Float” in the 2012 Annual Tournament of Roses Parade.
